چکیده

Separation of chalcopyrite from molybdenite is currently mainly carried out by flotation, but this process costly because the extensive use inhibitors. This study briefly describes a 7.0T/100CGC low-temperature superconducting magnetic separator and discusses its separation principle as well effect induction on molybdenite. A molybdenum (Mo) concentrate assaying 6.00% copper (Cu) 19.01% Mo was magnetically sorted using diamond-shaped steel rod medium mesh at feed concentration 20% pulp flow rate 5 L/min Cu-Mo flotation with 88% particles smaller than 23 ?m separator. 0.46% Cu 16.28% finally obtained roughing (1.3 T)-cleaning (5 T) process. Similarly, performed to separate bulk concentrate, produced 19.64% 0.03% 18.52% 0.39% particle size less 0.074 mm. At 7 T, velocity L/min, grade recovery in product were 81.59%, respectively, whereas non-magnetic 1.52% 90.07%, respectively. Superconducting has potential applications for removing concentrates, separating concentrates.

Harvesting fresh water and marine algae by magnetic separation: screening of separation parameters and high gradient magnetic filtration.

In this study, the focus is on magnetic separation of fresh water algae Chlamydomonas reinhardtii and Chlorella vulgaris as well as marine algae Phaeodactylum tricornutum and Nannochloropsis salina by means of silica-coated magnetic particles. Due to their small size and low biomass concentrations, harvesting algae by conventional methods is often inefficient and cost-consuming. Magnetic separa...

Beneficiation of a low-grade iron ore by combination of wet low-intensity magnetic separation and reverse flotation methods

Beneficiation of a low-grade iron ore was investigated by combination of the low-intensity magnetic separation and reverse flotation methods. The main constituents of the representative sample were 36.86% Fe, 8.1% FeO, 14.2% CaO, 13.6% SiO2, and 0.12% S based on the X-ray fluorescence, titration, and Leco analysis methods. The mineralogical studies by the X-ray diffraction, scanning electron mi...

Magnetic Separation of Giardia Cysts from Water

Background: Giardia is one of the infectious agents that can be transmitted by surface water and cause a disease. We designed and fabricated a magnetic system to separate the giardia cysts from water. Materials and Methods: In this study, giardia cysts were concentrated by sucrose floatation method. The cysts were mixed with physiological saline and their concentration was adjusted to 100,000 c...

Separation of Ultra - Fine Sulphur Particles from Nta Dispersion by Aphron Flotation

Oxidative scrubbing is used to remove H2S from gas streams. A key problem in regeneration of the absorbent is the removal of fine particles of sulphur from the suspension of the scrubbing liquid. Dispersions of ultra-fine bubbles have been called "colloidal gas aphrons" or aphrons for short. These dispersions have interesting properties and it was found that they have particular advantages in t...
